Durbin's Hunting Beagles

We got Jewel when she was 7 weeks old from Jessie Scrogham (Scrogham's Blue Kennel) in Waddy, KY. She has grown into a wonderful female with excellent hunt, a fast pace in a pack and a quick, solid chop on track. When run solo or with pups she gears down to run a medium to upper medium pace and hunts hard and close. The only things this hound seems to care about is running rabbits and eating! She is very affectionate and loves to be around you while relaxing at home. She is friendly with all adults and children but is an alpha female who wants to be in charge of the pack. She is a very strong, well built bitch measuring 14.5" and maintains around 23 lbs. Her first litter was whelped on June 1st 2016 and she raised all 8 puppies very well. She has proven to be a wonderful mother who raises healthy pups. We are currently working with her to become a Rabbit Champion in the ARHA trial format. She qualified for the ARHA Little Pack World Hunt in her first trial!
